October 18, 2007 ¡V Macau, MJS Trade Fairs (Macau) Limited today announced the launch of The Macau International Jewelry & Watch Fair 2008 ~ the prime event for Jewelry & Watch Traders in Asia at the Press Conference. The Fair will be held at the most eye-catching Venetian Macao Resort ¡V Hotel, the Cotai Strip Convention & Exhibition Centre during February 28 to March 2, 2008.

The Macau International Jewelry & Watch Fair 2008 is fully supported by The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Macau Government Tourist Office. The Fair has since inception received numerous patronage and support from other international professional and trade associations in the jewelry and watch industries and these institutions include The Macau Goldsmith¡¦s Guide, Shanghai Diamond Exchange Centre, China Post, China Council For The Promotion of International Trade PanYu Branch and the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Limited.

It was the great honour to have Mr. Jackson Chang, Executive Director of The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) to officiate at the Opening of the Press Conference. Mr. Chang has shared his view with all the guests and media of promoting Macau an irreplaceable convention and exhibition hub and also witness the milestone of such an unprecedented event in Asia.

The Macau International Jewelry & Watch Fair 2008 is scheduled to open in early March just before others of its kind and hence buyers and trade visitors need only to make one trip in the first half of the year covering the major shows.
